Welcome to my Substack + September Stories!
Seeking Customized Gifts for Grownups That You Should Order Now.
Hello Friends,
I’ve finally made the leap to Substack and I hope you find this to be a convenient way for us to connect each month. I’m keeping this Substack free for now.
Let’s get right into it:
For 2 articles to be published in mid-September on Truetrae.com & MSN, I am seeking
Customizable Holiday gifts for adults (no kid’s gifts please!)
The deadline for email submissions is 5pm ET on Friday, August 16 (this deadline is firm)
What I am looking for:
Gifts that can be personalized/customized in some way. Whether the gifts are simply monogrammed or fully bespoke, I want to hear about them.
If the item is something the recipient should order themselves, due to sizing or personal preference, there must be a gift card/certificate that you can gift to them in person or via email/text.
There is no price cap for this one, but I would prefer $150 and under.
Each pitch should include:
Description: 1-3 sentences about the item and how it can be customized for the recipient.
URL: a direct URL to the item
Price: A price or price range
Important:
I will likely ask for a sample, so if your client/brand is not in a position to provide that, please let me know that up front.
If you have several options to submit, please send your top 5.
If I covered something for this topic last year, I can't cover it again.
Mention of affiliates in your description is fine, but please focus on the brief.
If your submission is missing important details, I will likely skip it.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Trae
