I hope this message finds you well (or at least hanging on, given the roller coaster ride we’re on these days).
In late Feb/early March, I’ll be publishing a series of Spring Break Travel product roundups for truetrae.com & MSN.com.
Your products could be featured elsewhere, too, like on CBS Mornings Plus, WSJ BuySide, Marketwatch, or USNews!
Deadline
The deadline for email submissions is noon ET on Wednesday, February 4, (this is firm).
Please send pitches to trae@truetrae.com directly rather than responding to this email, as responses to the Substack email get jumbled and can be overlooked.
Spring Break Travel Gear for Adults
What I am/am not looking for:
Items that make travel easier, more efficient, more comfortable, more “like home”. Affordability is a plus, but I am also open to “investment” items as long as the cost feels worthwhile.
I’m open to anything that is helpful for travel, including clothing & footwear, luggage, tech, beauty products (ideally TSA-approved), etc.
I don’t need travel items for kids (I am not covering kids/babies anymore).
Each pitch should include:
Description: 1-3 sentences about the item and where it can be purchased.
It should be clear why it’s a good fit for the theme.
URL: a direct URL to the item (PLEASE no tracking links)
Affiliate: Skimlinks or Amazon affiliates are a plus
Image: A jpeg or png
Price: A price or price range.
Important:
I will probably request a sample to be delivered no later than February 13, so if your client/brand is not in a position to do this, please let me know that upfront.
If you have several options to submit, please send your top 5.
If I’ve covered a product before, I can't cover it again. I am open to different items from the same brand, however.
If your submission is missing important details, I will likely skip it.
